Sculptures in Clay

Members also throw forms on the wheel, and build with slabs and coils.

Welcome to Exmouth Ceramic Group

·
We are a group of friendly cheerful amateur potters who enjoy creating
in clay.

  • We have our own workshop with facilities for members & students to work with clay.
  • We make ceramic artworks and vessels by rolling out slabs & coils, sculpting in clay, or by throwing on the wheel.
  • We glaze and fire our creations in the group’s two on-site kilns.
  • We organise courses, work with local groups, and contribute to the Exmouth Festival
  • Our Annual Exhibition has been running for over 30 years and is held every Whitsun bank holiday  as part of the Exmouth  Festival
  • We host the popular  'Clay In The Park' for children with their parents to have fun sculpting in clay whilst the Festival bands perform.
Above all we have fun through working together to support the Group and each other.
